drawing off of over 2 and a half years of composition, and live performance, in addition to the incorporation of new technologies and tools, i wanted to take a different approach to the songwriting process. architecture was the fire, and t.e.o.a.t. is the flower that has grown up out of the ashes. the dream that you wake from crying, the places that you go to and still feel the presence of those whom you have left behind, or those whom have left you behind, the sound that you hear, the scent you breath in, the time that you recall, that gives you the warm pain in your stomach, the longing, the regret, the promises, and the sorrow of all that could have been, and all that was.  your absolute refusal to forget those things, to stop listening, to leave the places, to forget the sound, taste, feel, touch, or idea of what you have left behind, or what used to be, what you held dear, what you loved, or what you believed, and the memory of all the days you have lived, and how much they still effect you, how much they can still mean to you, and how much they will mean when everything is said and done, when you find yourself there at the end of all things.
